What is
❖PRAXIS
is a non-governmental and non-profit making cultural organisation in Serres.
❖It was founded in 1995 in order to offer a broad spectrum of cultural
activities to the town youth and involve them in cultural issues. Most of the
people working for PRAXIS do it voluntarily. The newspaper "Mediart" informs the public about
the activities of PRAXIS.
Where isPRAXIS has it main office with the radio station in the centre of Serres (PRAXIS ,Selefkou str 8, 62123 Serres). Serres is the capital of the department of Serres, located in the North of Greece, not far away from Thessaloniki. In
the town live about 80 000 inhabitants. Because of the Technological Education
Institute there are a high number of students living in Serres.
Local Activities
PRAXIS (since 1995) supported
the youth of Serres by many ways:

• Ecological Activities
• Cinema club
• Organize Local and national
concerts

Praxis is one of the most active
organizations in Greece. A lot of youngsters participate in several youth
exchanges and members of our organization take part as trainers and as
participants in several seminars in European and Mediterranean countries
